Photo ScrapbookBaby PicturesSince January is the beginning of a new year and is represented by the New Year’s Baby replacing Father Time, we thought we would share some photos of babies from our collection. We start off with two New Year's postcards. Postcards were the emails of the early 1900s. It is typical to find cards addressed with just the person’s name and the word “City” for the address if the recipient lived in the same town. We recently received a collection from the estate of Shirley McClure Yankie that included photos of the McClure, Dwyer, and Mains families. Many of them are named but quite a few are not. If you recognize any of the cuties let us know so we can label them. Many of the photos were produced by the Price Studios in Greenfield. E. J. Price and his son were in business in Greenfield during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Other Greenfield photographers included in these photographs are Jones Photographers and S.R. Cassellman Photographer.
